Mexican Sub Sandwich (Lonche)

A Lonche is a popular sub sandwich in Jalisco, Mexico. In this recipe we're using deli meat with lots of toppings for a quick and easy no-cook meal.

In Jalisco MX, Lonches are what you see pictured here, a sub sandwich with either deli meat or shredded meat, and toppings.

Ingredients for Lonche de Jamón

Fresh Bolillo rolls, Ham or deli meat, Cheese, and toppings

Slice and toast your rolls, then spread mayo on the bottom and smashed avocado on the top.

Then layer the deli meat, cheese, sliced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and sliced onions and pickled jalapenos.

Lonches de Jamón like most sandwiches are best eaten right away.
