Bacon Fat Flour Tortillas

Homemade Flour Tortillas made with leftover bacon drippings. These taste better than any store bought tortilla!

After several tries and taste testings, I've perfected my flour tortilla recipe! I can confidently say that making your own tortillas is worth the extra effort!

Ingredients Needed:

All purpose flour, bacon fat, salt, hot water. (substitute lard for bacon fat)

Mix ingredients together to form a smooth dough ball. Then portion out dough using a scale. 

Roll out each dough ball using a rolling pin on a floured surface.

Cook tortillas on a hot griddle or comal, about 30 seconds on each side.

Keep tortillas warm inside a tortilla warmer with a clean towel.

Fresh tortillas are perfect for breakfast tacos.
